Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Welcome to DishNFold. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and mobile application. By creating an account or booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DishNFold ("we," "us," "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately. These terms apply to all customers, providers, and visitors.

2. Services Provided

DishNFold is a technology platform that connects households with independent service providers for dishwashing, laundry folding, and kitchen cleaning. We facilitate scheduling, payments, and communication but do not directly employ providers. Providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of DishNFold.

3. Payments & Billing

One-off services are charged per load at the displayed rate. Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance at $199/month and include 11 service credits. Booster packs are one-time purchases of 12 additional credits at $199. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; refunds are issued at our discretion for unused credits beyond the current billing cycle.

4. Background Checks & Safety

All providers undergo background screening through our partner Checkr before activation. However, DishNFold does not guarantee the conduct of any provider. Customers are encouraged to report any concerns immediately. Identity verification is required for both customers and providers to maintain platform trust.

5. Liability & Disputes

DishNFold acts solely as a facilitator and is not liable for damages, delays, or disputes arising between customers and providers. Claims must be submitted within 14 days of the service date. We reserve the right to mediate disputes, suspend accounts, or remove users who violate these terms or our Community Standards.

6. Dishwashing Service Scope

Dishwashing services include washing, loading the dishwasher, hand-washing standard basin items, wiping immediate sink countertops, scraping plate waste, and unloading clean dry dishes into cabinets. Cabinet Access Rules: (a) Emptying the Dry Cycle — The specialist is fully authorized to open kitchen cabinets, shelves, and silverware drawers for the sole purpose of unloading clean, dry dishes from the dishwasher or drying rack to make room for the current load. (b) Leftover Management Rule — The specialist will happily box up remaining food only if the empty containers and matching lids are left out on the counter next to the food. Specialists are strictly instructed not to search through cabinets, pantries, or Tupperware drawers to locate storage containers for leftovers. If no boxes are left on the counter, food waste will be discarded. Strictly Excluded: floor cleaning, appliance or deep cleaning, and searching cabinets, pantries, or Tupperware drawers for storage containers. Customer Preparation: Our specialists will happily empty your clean dishwasher and put dishes away in your standard cabinets. However, to save time and respect your organization systems, any leftover food containers must be left out on the counter, as specialists will not search for plastic storage lids.

Nature of the Service

The Platform is a technology marketplace that connects independent residential consumers (Members) with independent, self-employed home service specialists. The Platform's automated matchmaking services are strictly limited to facilitating specific household endpoints: (1) Residential laundry folding and organizing services, (2) Residential kitchen resetting services (including loading and unloading dishwashers, light hand-washing of dishes, kitchen counter wiping, and kitchen floor mopping), and (3) Residential refrigerator organization and interior wipe-down services. The Platform does not perform, manage, or oversee home services, does not supply cleaning equipment or materials, and does not employ, train, supervise, or control the independent specialists. The Platform acts solely as a neutral digital referral and matchmaking board.

User Registration, Accounts, and Fees

The Member shall fill in the correct information requested in the User Registration form on the site. Membership requires an auto-renewing subscription fee of $199 per month, which will be automatically billed every 30 days to the Member's authorized payment method until canceled. Cancellations must be made via the self-serve client portal prior to the next billing cycle. The Member shall select a username and password during registration and shall be solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and all activity under their account credentials.

Platform Content

The content includes account profiles, gig tickets, and ratings posted to the site by members and independent specialists. The Member grants the Platform a nonexclusive right to display, copy, and host this data solely in connection with the operation of the matchmaking business.

Privacy

The Platform shall not sell or rent Members' personal information to third parties without explicit consent, and stores data securely on protected servers located in the United States.

Indemnification

The Member agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its owners, and representatives from all claims, losses, expenses, fees (including attorney fees), costs, and judgments resulting from the acts or omissions of the Member, or arising out of the performance of tasks by independent specialists connected via the Platform.

No Agency

No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer, or franchiser-franchisee relationship is intended or created between the Member and the Platform, or between the Platform and any independent specialist utilizing the marketplace.

Terminating Membership

The Member may terminate their membership at any time, which stops future billing cycles. Provisions regarding limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution shall survive any termination of this Agreement.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstance shall the Platform be liable to the Member or any third party for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from any provision of this Agreement. The Platform's maximum financial liability to any Member for any claim, property damage, loss, or incident arising from or related to the use of the technology marketplace shall be strictly limited to a maximum cap of $1,000 or the total subscription amount paid by the Member during the single month preceding the claim, whichever is lesser.

Alternative Dispute Resolution & Class Action Waiver

The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement through friendly negotiations. If the matter is not resolved by negotiation, the parties agree that any and all controversies, claims, or disputes shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in California. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding. Both parties explicitly waive their right to jury trials or to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action or representative proceeding against the Platform.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter contained herein. No other promises, warranties, representations, or understandings exist concerning this subject matter.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
